At ChemTec Pest Control, we understand how frustrating and stressful it can be to take the time to prep for service. We need the preperation completed before we arrive and the better you prep the faster, and cheaper the issues are resoved.
If you are not ready, not at home, or cancel service within 24hours, we will charge a service fee.
1. Do not run your sprinklers within 6 hours before the appointment so that the product can adhere to
the landscape. If your yard is wet upon arrival, we may not be able to perform service, and a trip charge may be applied.
2. Mow and weed eat the grass as short as possible, as insects must move across the grass to
contact the insecticide. The shorter the lawn is mowed, the better the coverage.
If your yard has not been recently mowed, the warranty is voided.
3. We will need access to your front and back yards.
4. Please, please, please pick up as much animal waste (poop) as possible.
We do not want to track waste in our vehicles or other people's homes.
5. Pick up any children’s or pet’s toys in the yard.
6. Remove pet dishes from the treatment areas.
7. Remove as much clutter as possible before the treatment.
Piles of wood and debris are cozy spots for pests to breed.
8. Arrange to have your pets inside your house, in a kennel, or off the property.
We cannot and will not service your property with pets in treatment areas.
9. The weather is unpredictable, and we may need to reschedule due to the wind or rain.
10. This treatment will help with flying insects, but they can only be reduced and not eliminated.
FOR BEST RESULTS AFTER TREATMENT:
1. Do not run the sprinklers within 1 hours after the service.
2. Do not let your pets or children return to any treated area until the product is dry (approximately 1
hour after we finish).
All pesticides used by a licensed pest control company are child-friendly and petfriendly when dry.
3. Do not allow clutter to accumulate.
4. Keep grass as short as possible.
5. Keep animal waste picked up to help reduce pest attraction.
6. Because several factors break down the potency of the pesticides,
treatment is recommended every 30-45 days for the yard.
If you prefer continuous protection, consider monthly service.
